Questions
Can I read the documentation before paying?
Yes. The documentation, the OpenAPI document and the live explorer on /reference are open to everyone. A plan is what serves the data routes to your own key.
What happens when I hit my quota?
429 monthly_quota_exceeded with Retry-After pointing at the start of the next UTC month. Every response carries RateLimit-Remaining, so you can see it coming.Do test keys count against my quota?
No. A
cfapi_test_ key reaches exactly the same data and is free, so you can wire up CI without paying for it.What is on Developer and what needs Pro?
Historical seasons, athlete careers and the Games. A refused call returns
endpoint_not_available_on_plan with the required plan in the body, so your client can show the right upgrade prompt without a second request.Will changing plan break my keys?
No. A plan change leaves keys alone. The stored key is independent of the brand prefix too, so a rename of this product would leave them working.
Is this an official CrossFit product?
No. This is an independent developer service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by CrossFit, LLC. The name is used descriptively, to say what the data is about.
